I
am excited to share with you an invitation to join Kindle and
Connect: An Interfaith Gathering of Women Leaders. This virtual half-day
conference on June 16 will feature speakers, breakout sessions and
panels with women from different spiritual communities sharing their
work to create meaning, build spiritual resilience, and lead their
communities in this time. Take a look at the schedule here.
Our goals are simple: come to this conference to learn something, meet someone, and take something away.
This project came out of the experiences many of us have had, walking into interfaith spaces and still being in the minority and wanting to create a space that specifically raises up the voices of women leaders. This is an opportunity for us to meet and start fostering a network of women doing incredible work, so we can all feel inspired and build each other up. Plus that character with the yarmulke looks suspiciously like me...so that's nice!
We
welcome leaders of all types, as we all lead in so many different
ways--as clergy, lay leaders, educators, those who organize communal
meals, and more. The ways we lead are endless, and you are most welcome
in this space.
We also come from many different backgrounds and belief systems,
including religious and secular/non-religious, and look forward to
growing in relationship together on June 16.
