Hello, friends.
Last August, I attended the Parliament of the World's Religions in Chicago and was excited to present on a few panels with partners of different faiths, including some discussions organized by the Zoroastrian community. One panel was about what different traditions have to say about care for the environment, and I shared my Jewish perspective on that topic. FEZANA, the Federation of Zoroastrian Associations of North America, kindly published some of what I shared in their journal:
While my quotations are not exactly verbatim, I hope they share a sense of what I presented on the panel. It was a joy to partner with my Zoroastrian siblings, and the other representatives on the panel, to have these important conversations. If anyone wanted to see the full article, let me know and I am happy to share. (Or subscribe to the FEZANA journal!)
Now go out and love one another (and the earth).
<3,
Allyson
